#MEETTHETEAM2018: NATALIE

S c r o l l D o w n

Dear Friends,

Today we would like to introduce you the first new entry of this year’s camp: Natalie! Natalie is a Bristish 28-year-old teacher and, lo and behold, she has already lived in Italy some time ago! Let’s see what she told us about herself!

Introduce yourself to the camp community My name is Natalie and I’m 28 years old. I have worked with students studying abroad in London for the last six years but have now changed career so that I can teach English as a foreign language. I have a degree in English and History and studied abroad for a year in Bologna. My passion is writing, and I hope to be a published author one day. I also love history and travelling and have just moved to Italy in the hope that I can pursue all my interests.

Why did you choose to be a part of our camp? I love Italy, I love meeting new people, and I love working with children – so the camp was immediately incredibly appealing for me. A friend of mine has taught at the camp before, and hearing of the fantastic experience that she had with the students and the staff just made me want it even more.

What “kind” of teacher will you be at the camp? I will be warm and fun, but also committed to working hard and delivering good lessons for the students. I look forward to engaging with a strong team spirit, not only with the staff but also with my class. I hope that by the end of the camp, my students will have learned a lot but will also have had a really good time.

What else can we say? Premises are great and she’s not lacking of enthusiasm at all. We just have to count the days until we’ll meet her!!
